A one-on-one meeting is between a supervisor or manager and an employee and helps to strengthen the relationship between them. The structure of a one-on-one meeting is a little less formal than general company meetings, and it allows the two parties to talk about more personal issues.

There should be a one-on-one meeting at least once every 2 weeks. It encourages communication between both parties is frequent and personalized. The meetings should be at most 30 minutes long to give both parties time to communicate without it seeming like a regular meeting.

Having one-on-one meetings regularly can help employees stay on top of their game while improving the whole team’s productivity. Before the meeting, the employee should get an agenda of everything you will discuss during the meeting. Both parties can then discuss every issue raised in the agenda and add any topics they find necessary.
